The Guide joins AAFES Virtual Vendor/Mall Merchant Program!
The Sportsman’s Guide recently launched a the virtual vendor/mall merchant program with AAFES, the Army and Air Force Exchange Service. AAFES.com is an exclusive, general merchandise shopping site for all active duty military, their spouses and dependents, along with National Guard, Reserve and retired military members.
In order to facilitate the new program, The Guide began accepting AAFES’ proprietary credit card, the STAR card, as a method of payment. There are currently 1.6 million STAR Card holders.
By way of introduction, The Guide is offering each AAFES member a special discount for trying out the site…$5.00 off an order of less than $75, and $10.00 off an order of $75 or more. That discount is in addition to the Club Member discounts that can be realized with a Buyer’s Club membership.
