The brand relies on multi-channel distribution through its three catalogues - Histoires d’Enfants, Histoires de Chambres and VB2U - its 48 stores and its websites.

Since 2006, Vertbauet has created its community website www.planet.vertbaudet.com.

  • Colline: maternity wear collection in keeping with the latest trends and the woman's changing figure.

  • Histoires de Chambres: the 100-page catalogue dedicated to furnishings and decoration for children's and baby's bedrooms, in a fun and creative style.

HISTORY

 

  • 1963: Tourcoing. Anselme Dewavrin creates the Vertbaudet brand, dedicated to mail-order ready-to-wear for children.

 

  • 1978: Vertbaudet diversifies its activities by launching a catalogue for Men and Women.

 

  • 1988: Takeover by the Redcats Group.

 

  • 1989: The collection once again becomes specialised in ready-to-wear and articles for Children.

 

  • 1994: Vertbaudet joins the Pinault Printemps Redoute Group and takes on a new logo.

 

  • 1995: Vertbaudet becomes widely known through its first mass-advertising campaign and the launch of the slogan "Les Enfants d’Abord" (Children First).

 

  • 1996: Launch of delivery within 24 hours at the delivery outlet; first shop opens in Lille; publication of the first catalogue in Great Britain.

 

  • 1997: Founding of Vertbaudet UK.

 

  • 1999: Launch of a catalogue in Portugal. Launch of the website: www.vertbaudet.fr.

 

  • 2001: Launch of the bedroom catalogue "Histoires de Chambre".

 

  • 2005: Opening of the Spanish market for the Autumn/Winter 2005 catalogue.

Creation of VB2U: catalogue dedicated to teen fashion.

 

  • 2006: Opening of the Swiss market and first store outside France, in Saudi Arabia.

 

 

  • 2007: Opening of the German and Belgium markets. The store network comprises 48 Vertbaudet stores.
