1901 - Plus Size Business founded.

1941 - Mail Order portion of the business moved to Indianapolis, Indiana.

1983 - Company name was changed to Brylane when originally acquired by The Limited.

1993 - 60% of Brylane was purchased from The Limited by Freeman Spogli & Company, a prominent investment firm.

1997 - Brylane became a public company listed on the NYSE.

1998 - 47% of Brylane was acquired by Pinault-Printemps-Redoute (PPR), a catalog and retailing conglomerate based in France and traded on the French Stock Exchange.

1999 - PPR completed its acquisition of Brylane.

2004 - Eric Faintreny joins Brylane as Chairman and CEO. Brylane changes name to Redcats USA.

2005 - Pinault-Printemps-Redoute officially changes its name to become PPR

2006 - Redcats USA acquires The Sportsman’s Guide, and its subsidiary, The Golf Warehouse. Lane Bryant Catalog begins transition to new name, Woman Within. Launch of OneStopPlus.com – World’s first online plus-size fashion mall of its kind.

2007 - Redcats USA acquires United Retail Group (Avenue brand), which includes almost 500 stores in 37 states. Redcats USA sells missy apparel business (Chadwick’s, Metrostyle, CCO).
