As Junior HR Manager for interns, training contracts and professionalization for La Redoute in France, I had the opportunity to address all the phases of recruiting, from the identification of needs through to the integration of new employees as well as hiring interviews...
Also in charge of relations with schools, I helped put together case studies and organize recruiting forums in target schools: an extremely formative field experience that helped me to understand the stakes in the HR function within the Group.
ATMOSPHERE, ATMOPSHERE
A great atmosphere, with managerial support that left room for autonomy and the assumption of responsibilities. On a personal level, it was a rich experience that allowed me to form relations within the HR Department, with managers from very different sectors and professions but also, and most importantly, with the “community" of interns. I was able to build up my power of conviction and other specific skills that are essential for a position of HR Manager.
MY JOB TODAY
At the end of my internship, I was immediately offered the job of HR and Training Manager within the Redcats Senior Brands division…It was an opportunity to be part of an international Group that was leading a transformation, with the large-scale integration of the web into its jobs, in which the HR function has a key role and is supported by an employer brand in full expansion!
Today, in a constant evolving environment, I support managers and their teams by developing their competencies, by adapting and leading change. Thus, I really have the feeling that I’m a business partner!
